Recently, Singapore’s polytechnics inked new deals under the SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme (ELP) which give graduates more opportunities to upgrade their skills and knowledge.
Specialist diploma holders from all five local polytechnics in fields such as hospitality, accountancy or supply chain management, will be able to count up to 20 credit units from their polytechnic studies towards a Bachelor’s degree at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
In addition, Temasek Polytechnic graduates with diplomas in building services, facilities and events management and infocommunications technology, will be able to skip a year’s worth of study at SUSS or the Singapore Institute of Technology.
All graduates on the ELP schemes will be able to pursue degree qualifications whilst holding on to full time jobs.
