Nanyang Polytechnic has entered into a partnership with Lattice80, a Singaporean financial technology startup hub, to offer students internships.
Around 100 students from Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Business Management will have the chance to volunteer to undergo on-the-job training at Lattice80, a stint that will last anywhere from one to six months.
The training stint will allow students to gain an understanding of the emerging field of financial technology, or fintech.
Since 2015, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has set aside $225 million to develop fintech projects and introduced measures to boost Singapore’s financial sector, such as providing new technologies.
