The RHT Subhas Anandan Bursary Award, sponsored by RHTLaw Taylor Wessing and the RHT Group of Companies, and named in honour of the late criminal lawyer Subhas Anandan, aims to help students with their educational expenses by awarding them with amounts between $200 and $600, depending on educational level.

Recently five students received the award, which was launched in 2016, and is open to children of staff of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing.

One of the recipients was Muhammad Irman Abdul Aziz, whose mother, Huzaimah Haji Tanon, suffered a stroke on her daughter’s wedding day. Irman is currently in his final year at the Institute of Technical Education where he is studying opticianry.

Award recipients are selected based on performance in both academics as well as extra-curricular activities.
