Students from the National University of Singapore will now be able to do a minor in art history.

A similar minor is also being offered by Nanyang Technological University.

The NUS programme is offered in conjunction with the National Gallery Singapore and is open to all NUS undergraduates.

Under the minor, students will learn how to read, analyse and interpret artwork. They will be exposed to museum curating and South-east Asian art history

Thus far, about 90 students have signed up for the introductory module of the minor programme.
