Last year in 2015, the mean monthly salary for fresh university graduates employed in full time jobs rose to over S$3,400. This is based on the Joint Graduate Employment Survey conducted on graduates from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore Management University (SMU).
The median monthly salary on the other hand was just slightly less, at S$3,300.
Additionally, close to 90 percent of fresh graduates succeeded in finding employment within six months of completion of their final examinations, and around 83 percent found full-time permanent employment.
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) will conduct their own employment surveys in February and March, respectively.
