The Master of Business Administration (MBA) class at Insead takes in students from all over the world. Its cohort of 1,000 students each year comprises students from around 80 countries. There were 34 Singaporeans enrolled in Insead’s MBA programme last year.
Students from diverse cultures studying together help promote a versatile education which produces graduates capable of adapting to different work environments. Recruiters also place a premium on the depth of Insead’s global talent pool. As a result, Insead topped the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking last month.
One of Insead’s founding principles is that no more than one-third of the students, faculty, and even its board, should be from the same nationality.
Insead students choose from a range of courses, from strategic cost management to negotiations. The school also offers a one-year MBA programme as opposed to the more traditional two-year curriculum.
Its alumni command an average annual salary of over $234,000 three years after graduation.
